I owned the Corsair K95 RGB Platinum (non XT model) for two years before taking ownership of this newer model and it continues the same excellent features: Cherry MX Speed Silver switches (100 million keypresses) Per key RGB settings PBT Double Shot Keycaps Full Media controls USB 3.0 passthrough HIgh grade aluminum frame Infinitely customizable through iCUE software Plenty of other reviewers will write more but I did test this keyboard against my old K95 RGB Plat and against the Steelseries Arctis Pro and Razer Huntsman Elite (optical). I ended up liking this Corsair K95 XT just a tad more than the Arctis Pro. The only thing I do not like about this board is the need to install the huge bloatware iCUE to get full control over the lighting and firmware upgrades. This is the Rolls Royce of gaming keyboards for 2020. 4.7 stars out of 5.
