No drawbacks except poor contrast and black rendering and thick back cover

I'm a fan of this monitor's brightness, HDR settings, and color settings. All of the picture quality settings are fairly straightforward, though you may have to mess around with profile selections to get everything to look right and not have an odd ghosting effect. (The default Gamer 1 profile sucks. The FPS profile is basically the best profile for everything gaming.) I found the refresh rate settings a bit confusing, too, as it wasn't just a set-to-144hz kind of thing. I don't know if other monitors are like this, but you can't have 144Hz in all profiles, and it doesn't seem to enable 144 in all multi-monitor configurations. This might be a Win10-specific problem or a technical DisplayPort issue, but I also found myself having to set the monitor back to the resolution and refresh rate I want every time I turn the PC on unless I'm using Adaptive Sync or HDMI. Not a huge issue, just worth noting, I guess.

(The default Gamer 1 profile sucks. The FPS profile is basically the best profile for all games.) I also found the refresh rate setting a bit confusing, since it's not just something set to 144hz. I don't know if this is the case with other monitors, I like it anyway

No downsides other than poor contrast and black rendering and a thick back cover
